Always In Our Hearts

Beloved wife, mother, cousin, neighbor and friend, Sharon Kulberda passed away on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008.

Born in 1943 to William and Ann Patten of Garwood, she attended Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark. She married Raymond F. Kulberda in 1972 and moved to Somerset. Mrs. Kulberda worked for Twin County Grocers in Edison and was noted as the first female food buyer in NJ. She later worked at the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Somerset. She was a committeewoman for the Franklin Township Republican organization. She is survived by her husband, her son Raymond W. of Kendall Park, and her brother Thomas Patten of Garwood. She will be fondly remembered by her family, neighbors and friends, to whom she gave freely and frequently of her time, love and support. Nothing pleased her more than working in her garden on her flowers and vegetable plants. A dedicated animal lover, her care and attention went beyond her own pets to the birds and squirrels that made their home on her property.

Visitation is Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A graveside ceremony will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 12:30 PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery in East Millstone.
